Step 4 — you don't have to do this alone
Get the help you need
Tell us the basics and an OWCP Resources specialist will look at your facts — deadlines, forms, evidence — and tell you honestly where you stand. Free, no obligation.
Free human review
Have a specialist look at your claim
New claim, stuck claim, or denied claim — a real person who handles OWCP cases daily will review your facts and tell you the honest next step.
What the free review covers
- Deadline audit — which clocks are running right now
- Form check — CA-1 vs CA-2, and whether a CA-7 is overdue
- Evidence gaps — what your doctor's report is missing
- Denial triage — reconsideration, hearing, or ECAB, and which fits
Common questions
Will asking for help hurt my job?
No. Filing a FECA claim is a protected right, and retaliation is illegal. Your agency cannot approve or deny claims — OWCP does.
Do I need a lawyer to file?
No. You can file yourself through ECOMP for free. Representation matters most after a denial — which is exactly what a review helps you judge.
Is this a government website?
No. OWCP.ai is independent. Official filing happens at ecomp.dol.gov.
What does the review cost?
Nothing. If you later choose ongoing representation, fees are explained in writing first — and OWCP must approve fees in FECA cases.
